As far as I understand, if there was no prohibition anywhere, then you could use DD without any worries. The organizers definitely overlooked the rules, but in my opinion, it would have been better to postpone the match and contact the judges. And, in my opinion, very good rules were established for Jebus back in last year's tournament.
