02.03.2010 DC (red, Castle, Valeska, Gunnar) def RomarioGrom (blue, Conflux, Grindan, Mephala) 8MM6A, 233

Phew, a long game. Started in a cramped area with awkward terrain, ran the wrong way at first, didn't find a secondary hero. But I picked up some resources with scout heroes. The lumber mill was behind a horde of Mummies, so I couldn't count on Cavalry. I was short on gold too, but after breaking through another path I ate a few chests and managed to build Angels by week 2, with a City Hall though. Had to fight for wood with my main hero just to build Monks :D On day 131 I bought 2 Angels, went through the Dwarves' area and broke through resource guards near the Castle, leveling up along the way. With 5 Angels I took a 40-creature pack near the Castle (-2+4), then went focused on farming. Found a couple more packs and ate them (12 total), looting resource piles on the way. Upgraded Angels in the Castle, then ran over there. Changed my mind on the way and went underground with unupgraded ones hoping for a Dragon Utopia and, as a result, cash to upgrade everything at once) That moment might have been key, as it shifted my mood from frustratingly dull to leveling-and-ramping-up))) took one Dragon Utopia (Wings, Chalice, etc.), right after it two 4-creature packs (!) and a second Dragon Utopia. At the same time, I was tracking Romario's moves and was unpleasantly surprised by a stack of Angels :D Went into another underground area, took a couple of Arenas, Attack already 37 :D But the Sword of Justice lowered my Attack a bit))) After that, I just ran around looking for the Book of Earth or a Pandora's Box (only got Book of Water and Fire in a crate), and also something that prevents magic, at least a Cape. After enough running, I decided to go to the zone where his heroes were chaining. Killed one scout hero, but the second managed to flee. The annoying part — I went the wrong way, but thanks to Logistics I got to the monolith he was supposed to flee through. Romario attacked me himself with 30+ Birds in two stacks. However, the Cape and 30+ Attack are a brutal combo (I had 18 Archangels and 3 unupgraded with me — I didn't bother transferring the other 4 Archangels and the rest of the army). Morale decided it — Mephala didn't have time to surrender. After that, Romario attacked me with some scout hero and a large army (after all, 2 Confluxes) and for some reason cast Blind on my Archangels, without having a single chance. So that's how it was, basically, Archangels versus 2 Confluxes :D Thanks for the long and interesting game. Nice when neither has a Town Portal))

P.S. Gunnar was a bit of a letdown — didn't get Attack, Pathfinding came last. And I wasn't eager to get Air either. Expert Earth never came in handy(((
That is life, what a f**cked up things we do... What a nightmare comes true... Or a playground if we chose, and I choose! (С) The Offspring

p.s. for fun не играю.
