We drafted and went. Spawned at the top, gold wasn't great, but I took an external dwelling of Minotaurs, built a Portal of Glory at home and a Citadel.
On the second week I break a level 3 Griffon Conservatory, lose 8 Minotaurs out of 20 :(
On the third I take a secondary Rampart and go into the Barbarian treasure zone. There are a couple of Pandora's Boxes, several Dragon Fly Hives and not a single Dragon Utopia. True, the Seer asked for "cards of luck" and gave me 3 Black Dragons, that at least cheered me up :)
Built up my economy, maxed out Earth magic and, seeing no prospects, rushed home and to the GO.
I capture the enemy castles and wait. Valeska gets wasted in a treasure zone.
