Sacred Haven of Debauchery

Dude, what the heck? None of the parts of Heroes 5 are launching... a window pops up with a picture and some kind of error... I can't even see what the error is. Maybe it's an IE issue?

It says this:
Failed to initialize direct3d9

I installed it from the Heroes disc, but it didn't help.
