The Master and Margarita

At first reading, the book seemed rather dull, but it still became clear that it implied something different from what was written, that behind the bare presentation of facts, there was something else that wasn't directly stated. After reading it, I felt an inexplicable sense of contempt and pity for the author, and disgust for Margarita; the author's novel seemed like heresy. Yeshua Ha-Nozri seemed very unnatural. Later, I found an article by Andrei Kurayev about this book on the internet. I read it with interest, and many things became clear. I began to systematically recall the entire book and even reread some parts, and that's when it became interesting to me. I found an explanation for the behavior of its characters, especially Woland and Yeshua Ha-Nozri, and I understood what this book is really about... In my opinion, there's no point in studying it in the 11th grade without first reading the entire Bible, both the New and Old Testaments, because it will simply be impossible to understand what is written there, what meaning was behind the creation of this vile, dirty, generally awful novel about Pontius Pilate, who Yeshua Ha-Nozri really was, and so on. In general, I liked the book, after quite a long time, but still, it leaves a somewhat oppressive, even frightening impression after reading it...

In the film, I liked the actors' performances, but I didn't like the fact that many bad things were shown as good, but still, despite the director's efforts, it is seen as it is. Apparently, the book is written that way...
