SOD vs TE

I was thinking about creating a program to separate units and other things (before **vbn** created the lighter), so in terms of functionality, it would be something like TE buttons, but not interface buttons, but hotkeys. The program would work directly with RAM, so operations would be performed instantly and reliably (zero chance of error). I just feel a bit hesitant about doing something for SoD. There will always be those who are against it or who will criticize it.
