SOD vs TE

It's simply not worth playing against those who take an average of 15 minutes per turn, even without adjusting the TE settings.
And if you suspect that your opponent is wasting your time by exploiting the unlimited battle time in SoD, it's likely that this is not the only way they are showing disrespect, and in that case, you should simply avoid playing against such an opponent.
P.S. It's a matter of taste; some people prefer quick matches, while others enjoy a more engaging process. ;)

If you haven't played against a player before, it's difficult to determine how much time they spend on their turn.
For example:
A football match between Dynamo Kyiv and Real Madrid; it takes Raúl 2 seconds to take a free kick.
A football match between Temp Shepetivka and Real Madrid; it takes Raúl 10 seconds to take a free kick.
Which match would you prefer? I prefer the first one. If you prefer the second one, I can't convince you otherwise.
Yes, Raúl will take a better shot in 10 seconds than in 2, but I'm not interested in that kind of football.
