It's a rather uninspired army. Effective, but uninspired. Especially if you run into a dragon. I only managed to defeat green and red dragons thanks to the Incubus.

At the beginning, I take a Gargoyle and a Warrior for the main hero mage. If I hire a secondary hero to cover the rear and catch enemy heroes, I take a Satyr + Mage or Warrior, depending on whether I'm hiring a Duke or an Advisor. Although I prefer the Duke, he's more appealing.
