that's why I'm ready to start round 4, without waiting for the opponent in the postponed match, and I'm willing to play against anyone ;) because it's unknown when we'll be able to continue, and besides, the matches with Eddie in Might and Magic 6, which we're playing, tend to be long... but it's all up to the judges :cool:

Besides, there's a downside to playing ahead of schedule: when the games are completed, one of the players might no longer have the motivation to compete. Or both players might be motivated to draw. All of this violates the spirit of sportsmanship and leads to unpredictable distortions of the final results. In other words, it stops being a competition and becomes diplomacy and collusion. No way, no way...

Ideally, the last round should only be played when the results of all previous rounds are known. That is, it might not even be played this coming weekend, but the weekend after. And this weekend, we can finish the 2 matches with Eddie.
