No, I'm not saying that Railag is stupid (I've already decided on my priorities in this matter). It's just that the fact that he "stayed in the portal" knowing what was happening doesn't fit with the fact that he was conquering Igg-Shail for himself and for Malassa. It turns out that he conquered it and then didn't care about it.

In general, I'm returning to the question that HoM[M]ie asked – what is the motivation for conquering Igg-Shail? Because if we set aside how much he is in love, we see a rather calculating, cold-blooded, and purposeful character, all of whose actions contain some kind of rational basis.
