Yes, I know that's why I chose a class with a focus on physics; I never really understood it before, but now I do, even though I don't like it. That's just how I am, a strange person.

So, you went to a physics and math class to better understand physics, which you're not interested in? Interesting approach :D

However, I myself used to think it was a completely uninteresting and pointless science until my hands reached the Wikipedia page and the 10th-grade textbook.
