It's definitely the text file's fault. Don't words like "common sense" ring a bell? "Those who 'want' to find a way. Those who 'don't want' to find an excuse." It's not about text files/TE/vodka/drugs... It's all about people. If a person playing SoD/Light/TE is a Human, a Personality, then they will remain so in any situation. Or are you in favor of creating "comfortable conditions" that don't allow people to show themselves from different angles? You can't stay in one place – you either "develop" or "degrade."
You speak beautifully. But you don't know what kind of complaints we have to deal with in the AK and how absurd they sometimes are.
There is a TXT file. I can upload it – use it with mutual consent. But for example, there is a text file called zaobjts.txt, and I've lost count of how many versions of it there are on the forum. In some versions, crypts are generated on lava, and in others, they aren't. In some versions, forts are on hills, and in others, they aren't. In earlier versions, obelisks were disabled, and in the latest version, they are enabled again. (Correct me if I'm wrong).
When I played a tournament with Forrest in TE, I asked him, "Will we use zaobjts?" He replied, "No! I don't know what Vick has messed with and disabled." :D (Maybe not verbatim, but that's the gist).
We could, of course, create a complete description, force everyone to download and install it. I don't know what would come of it...
P.S.: By the way, for those who don't know, different text files are responsible for objects, spells, and artifacts, so there are many of them!!! :smile01:
