How is Dark Messiah connected to Heroes of Might and Magic?

Short videos about each one? That's an idea, but it wouldn't add much... There are too many inconsistencies and mysteries in this game, and these mysteries weren't even intended by the developers. It's just terrible graphics! If the developers had made the heroes more lively, added at least a hint of physics and variety in their movements! Then everything would be clear from the very beginning. Then we wouldn't have to guess what emotion the hero is expressing right now, but we would just watch and enjoy the plot! What a disappointing oversight! Why didn't Ubisoft help Nival with the graphics? They are masters at it!
