Do you know how to play?

I'm not entirely sure what actions need to be taken here, especially when playing as Solmyr. That's why I'd really like to learn from the experts. I remember a friend of mine playing as Solmyr, casting two lightning spells on the neutrals and then quickly retreating to the castle to replenish his mana. He'd stay there for a day, cast a couple more lightning spells, and gradually eliminate all the neutrals around him.
