In my opinion, the first selection round was better than the second (I'm talking about the results). And not in the sense that someone unworthy passed – no, on the contrary. In a Swiss-system tournament, you can lose once and still advance. Well, you might get 22 Goblins and 4 Lizardmen, plus some random Mages on the road. And that's it. Whether you're at the top or not is up to chance. But if it's a match for 3rd place, it means you didn't make it to the final bracket. The Swiss system is better for this tournament, IMHO!
