Resource nodes are usually blocked by strong units, and scouting them usually happens simultaneously with breaking through the defenses. I'm not accusing anyone, I'm just saying that "it's quite possible."

first they cut down overpowered heroes like the Miner.
I haven't played The Eastern Era, but I've heard that 3 stacks always appear. And in SoD, the Miner might only get 1 stack. So, a nerfed Miner is more common in SoD.
