On-line rating (discussion)

I will explain the problems with creating an automatic rating.
Using other people’s developments won’t work, first, because of mismatched formulas for calculating the rating, and second, the design of the project should match the design of ХВ, not be stolen from others. Besides, we already have our own traditions and requirements for the information in rating tables.
Writing the program itself for entering reports and calculating the rating is not difficult. The main problem is integrating it into our website. To do this, you need to have access to the source files and, naturally, permission from the owner of the site. I.e., ONLY the Creator can do this.

I asked the Creator about this. Here is his response:

... in the coming months, I plan to reach the final stage of development and provide both tournament organizers and users with an automated tournament organization system, which will already include an automated rating.

So let’s wait, and for now we will calculate the rating ourselves.
Vitaliy is currently very short on time, which is why there have been such delays with the autumn season. I don’t know when it was ever like this, with the rating being calculated once every six months :confused: ... No need to panic. We won’t be left without a rating. There are some ideas on how to make this work easier for the host. I’ll try to think it over and do some programming. By spring, I hope everything will get back to normal.
