Sacred Haven of Debauchery

Yesterday, some virus got into my system. I went to a website to look at the lyrics of a song, and... although I don't know how, there was a message saying that I had a virus on my computer, but it looked more like an advertisement. I closed the website immediately, and in the evening, things started to go wrong. The computer started to freeze completely. The music would get stuck, websites wouldn't load, and folders wouldn't open. This happened several times, each time lasting about 3 minutes. Once, I tried disconnecting from the internet, and it stopped freezing, but then it started again when I reconnected. But I think I got rid of it. This morning, I turned on the computer and went away, and when I came back, there was a message saying that a virus had been found (in QuickTime, it seems to be an installer, and it's an old one). It offered to fix it, and I clicked on it, but it doesn't seem to have helped; Kaspersky probably dealt with it. I found the virus in the backup storage and deleted it. So far, there have been no freezes... I hope there won't be any.
