It seems like the point isn't whether it takes a long or short time, but rather, based on your own words, that no one reads anything, and yet you write, "when I read the rules of the best..."
Regarding the rules: if you don't like them, don't play in the tournament, that's all. Don't bother anyone, don't portray yourself as a victim, and don't try to achieve something through "all other means." For example, Andrey-Britvochka wasn't happy with the rules/judging in the tournament, so he withdrew. Of course, there will be some talk, but no one will escalate things further.
Everyone is good at talking, but how about helping to organize a normal life for the forum, tournaments, and other things? Is that more difficult, or what?
