So, it's not about whether it takes a long or short time, but according to your own words, no one reads them, and then you write, "when I read the rules, it was..."
Regarding the rules, if you don't like them, don't play in the tournament, and that's it. Don't annoy anyone, don't portray yourself as a victim, and don't try to achieve something "in all other ways." For example, Andrey-Britvochka wasn't happy with the rules/judging in a tournament, so he withdrew. Of course, there will be some talk, but no one tried to escalate things further.
Everyone is good at talking, but how about helping to organize the normal functioning of the forum, tournaments, and other things? Is that more difficult, or what?
