It was a long game. Although there was no road movement due to ГО, there weren't even any brief skirmishes. Everyone minded their own business.
But the speedy Gunnar managed it better. Artyom had a huge native respawn, mine was a bit smaller, but both got decent spawns.
I had 2 stacks of marksmen and 1 each of monks, swordsmen, and pokemons. Artyom had 2 stacks of hydras and 2 of gnolls. Artyom got a huge treasure zone on the rocks, Gunnar cleared 3 underground treasure zones. Cleared everything to the max, because there were no stat artifacts anywhere (((. The only Dragon Utopia gave +4 all, then a hat +3/+3 and that's it..... I spent a long time looking for a Cape of Summoning for so much meat, but didn't find it.... And that turned out to be a good thing.... But I broke into so many Griffin Conservatories and beehives that I don't even remember the last time I collected so many.... I managed to gather 25 angels, 91 wyverns (with subsequent upgrade in the secondary town). I headed to my opponent fully confident in my superiority. But in vain..... On day 227 I assault Gurnisson in his capital. I had, in addition to the mentioned angels and wyverns, 220+ archers and 20 fanatics with the Golden Bow, plus the rest of the meat pile from the capital and stacks, against 24 chaos hydras, 30 greater wyverns, 7 angels, and the rest of the swamp mob. In terms of combat stats, Gunnar was far behind, and the logist was weak against the Barbarian. In the final, I was a bit distracted in real life, which caused me to not think through the start properly. I set up my tactics formation to protect the shooters and the ballista (which I didn't need at all). As a result, instead of blocking the gates with angels and methodically taking down the opponent with the Golden Bow while periodically resurrecting those lost to towers and using explosions, I got hit with mass Haste and drawn into melee combat where I started taking such a beating that I felt sick.... You should have seen what 20+ chaos hydras did in my ranks :smile07:. In short, I managed to correct my initial mistake with an explosion dealing 1900+ damage due to the opponent's lack of strong magic. Thanks for the game, Artyom!!!!
