Why the double standards? An opponent clearly stated that they wouldn't be able to play against me, and a loss was counted for BOTH of us. The same thing happened with Tolikandro's opponents, already in the playoffs.

And now, KillerVampire can't play, and player XL gets a technical win and advances.

Ideally, the winner of the second quarterfinal should automatically advance to the final, because they don't have an opponent in the semifinal - XL doesn't advance to the semifinal because there's no game (which could have been - they have an opponent), just like in the case with Tolikandro's opponents. And although one could argue that they didn't actually agree, and KillerVampire clearly stated that he wouldn't be able to play. But there were cases where people clearly stated they would refuse to play, and a technical win wasn't awarded.

I call the final the last game in the lower bracket, although the second to last is the semifinal, also one game in the lower bracket. It's just that another player from the upper bracket should be added to the winner of this game.
