Good luck to you!
Thanks for the games.
XL, please clarify with KillerVampire – maybe he’ll decide to play?
If not, then you’re in the semi-finals of the lower bracket.
Why the double standards? When my opponent clearly stated that he wouldn’t be able to play, a loss was recorded for BOTH of us. The same happened with Tolikandro’s opponents, already in the playoffs.
But now, when KillerVampire can’t play, XL gets a technical win and advances.
Ideally, the winner of the second quarter-final should automatically advance to the final, because he doesn’t have an opponent in the semi-finals – XL doesn’t advance to the semi-finals because there’s no game (which could have been – he has an opponent), just like in the case with Tolikandro’s opponents. And although one could argue that they really didn’t agree, and KillerVampire clearly stated that he wouldn’t be able to play. But there were cases when people clearly stated that they refused to play, but a technical win wasn’t awarded.
I call the final the last game in the lower bracket, although the second to last is the semi-final, also one game in the lower bracket. It’s just that one more player from the upper bracket should be added to the winner of this game.
I’m just always very honest :) If I’m wrong about something, I apologize.
