I think the main goal for everyone should be to hold a full-fledged championship. And for this, it is necessary that all finalists arrive. And for this, it is necessary not to oppose Aldeghir and Dust, and to figure out who is better, but to come up with conditions so that they both arrive, as well as all the other 20+ finalists.
Regarding the version. I think the best option is TE-Lite by default, by agreement of the players - any. And hope that the draw does not pit Van and Forrest against each other :)
Nagan, the idea with the semi-finals, as it seems to me, is not very good. If there are problems with traveling to the final, where will people get the opportunity to travel to both places?
Samurai's idea with WT and holding semi-finals on it is also not very good. Firstly, where is the guarantee that the version will be fully functional by May. Secondly, and I think this is the main thing, the tournament was conceived so that everyone could meet each other in person, chat live, etc.
