3. Dust can only go to Michurinsk. His counterpart, Aldegyr, can only go to Kyiv and cannot go to Michurinsk. It's an either/or situation. Aldegyr is the winner among the strongest recognized players in Kyiv, and Dust finished 3rd or 4th in Siberia... Who should we choose?

Why choose at all? Was there any talk about moving the tournament from Kyiv to Michurinsk? Aldegyr played brilliantly in his qualifier and will make a splash in the final.
Regarding Dust, don't underestimate him as a player. I remember his match against AlexGreat in St. Petersburg; the whole club, including Antal, Bayazet, and Mike, stood around and watched; it was one of the most interesting matches, especially the final battle. And, by the way, Dust won. But that's just an aside.

The question is: they collected money for Dust and Mike, and they both went... logically, shouldn't they also collect money for Van? The total amount would be around 90,000. Is that about $3,000? This is if it's for Kyiv. If it's for Michurinsk, the amount should be half as much...

Collecting that amount would be good, but is it realistic? Alex Dust came to St. Petersburg at his own expense, as did Vex in Krasnodar, and Dreamcatcher in Michurinsk.
I don't think it's possible to collect that much money, like 90,000. But it's definitely possible to help; I've already written about how. Accommodation, club access, no entry fees, and ideally, transferring the prize fund. And people will appreciate being given a decent welcome and reception.

In my opinion, it wouldn't be worth messing around with prize money... besides, there are people who can't even contribute a hundred dollars...

No one is talking about extorting money from people. But couldn't we just talk to people on ICQ, some of whom can contribute and some of whom can't?
The prize fund is the last thing on my mind; we can do without it.
But if it's of interest to the participants, then we can do it.
