For me, "The Gulag Archipelago" was a real revelation. It's an absolutely incredible work. I simply don't have enough words to describe it. I believe that everyone should definitely read this book, even if they don't read anything else and have forgotten what a book is. Because the Gulag is us, it's our history. The work is written in excellent language, quite understandable for the "new generation"... In general, I highly recommend reading it.
