Trolleybus[/U]
You walked alone - there were a hundred and fifty of us!
Try to take us all with you!
Boring through the earth's crust with your wheels
And spewing out melting snow,
You approached - we fell silent.
A nervous laugh echoed in the crowd.
Shaking off the wet, loose snow from our shoulders,
Prepare for battle, human!
You don't accept everyone
Into your embrace,
You only choose strong people,
But I feel your kiss from the doors,
It now burns between my shoulder blades!
I love, like life itself,
The crush at the doors,
I love the clatter of your valves.
And the fire warms my soul
With the plaintive whisper of those waiting!
I love the titan skillfully etched on the glass
Telling a story,
I love to hear from old women
Politically fresh news,
And clenching in my hands
An officer's epaulette,
I gaze into the depths
Of the fogged-up windows.
You swiftly cleave the sky with your pantograph,
Continuing your rapid run,
Dispelling the frail bodies of machines,
Outpacing the twentieth century.
The voltage is weak - it doesn't matter!
You carry the lead of your passengers!
But when the wires no longer feed you,
You live on the electricity of our hearts!
