Vova, let me tell you right away – I won't be organizing a qualifier for Moscow!!! ;)
I don't have the money, time, or energy for it right now.
And an internal mini-tournament and a qualifier are two different things when it comes to resources. :smile42:
You guys can handle it yourselves; you have everything you need.
eric, no one is asking for a Moscow qualifier.
The potential issue with the Moscow qualifier might be the out-of-town players – due to their potential participation, the rules are set with tight deadlines...)
However, there are potentially a lot of players in Moscow – the question is, how many of them will actually participate. But let's say the ideal scenario happens – a lot of players respond: then the tournament won't fit into one weekend, with all the consequences. If it's like in Siberia or Kyiv – a pack or even several, then definitely one weekend will be enough. :) :)
As for Michurinsk, it's not for Muscovites at all, but rather as a general rehearsal for the final. Let's say you announce it – does that mean that strong players who want to come there are forbidden? Whether to give it the status of an additional qualifier is up to the organizers, but in the tournament that took place, two-thirds of the prizes were won by out-of-town players, so the locals should also have a chance! ;) Moreover, I am personally ready to help in organizing it during the event and even a little in advance.)))
And in Moscow, SAG, in addition to the lack of personal experience with club tournaments, is also not focused on this due to being extremely busy + time was on their side, but I think when the time comes, it will be organized, in a purely Russian way. ;) :D
Personally, it's difficult for me to help because I rarely even stay near the capital, because the main issue right now is the club, and here you need to work with administrations in person and with personal charm – simply paying clubs Moscow prices would be ruinous. :smile32:
