I got curious and tried it out...
Army: 220 Gremlins, 10 Mages, 33 Gargoyles, 18 Golems, Ivor 6-7-1-1, skills: ranged attack, attack, advanced armor vs 25 Hydras. On snow. Morale was turned off - I took a charm and a ring +1 health, there is terrain, but it didn't really matter. In short, it's a quite realistic gameplay scenario. Without a cart, the arrows ran out at the end, and I had to fight with my hands; 130 Gremlins remained. In principle, it's possible to win if the Hydras don't have morale, but what to do next with such an army on the 2nd week is unclear. Does this make sense only if you can jump into the castle? Well, and I haven't seen a GO with 25 Hydras yet, usually there are at least 30:)
