Yeah :) I just noticed this thread... The game is simply amazing! Undoubtedly, the best RPG of 2009! I don't regret spending 150 hours of real time on it. It felt like I was immersed in a real world that exists parallel to ours. Leliana, Alistair... It still seems like they are real people (especially Leliana :)) Of course, there were some flaws, but they were rare and you can easily overlook them. The game didn't cause any particular problems during the playthrough. One memorable moment was the fight with Kothren! It was really intense (it seems to be the only superboss in the game). If you tried to kill him, you know what I'm talking about. Yes, I played as a noble human. I tried playing as a city elf, but I gave up because I needed a break to forget the details. And then I can visit this beautiful and inspiring world with an open heart again!

What are your parties like? I think it would be effective to level up a destruction mage, with Alistair, Wynne, and some rogue in the team. A warrior with a two-handed weapon doesn't make a very good tank, at least not for me.
I played through the entire game with Alistair (shield + sword), Wynne, and Leliana. I almost never took other characters with me. And the main character, Aidan, was a master with a two-handed sword. A real combo - petrification/freezing + critical hit :)
