Another game from the "cannot be told in a few words" series :). The map turned out quite decent; all strong castles were killed, and I even got a Tower. Starting artifact was a bow +5 shooting, which Zhabarkas really liked upon arrival:), there was also Ivor, but Jeb immediately got the armorer and the elf was sent to the same bench. The respawn turned out to be simply giant, with 3 cap external dwellings, a bunch of crypts, and other things. Result of the week: nagas in the stronghold, secondary town is swamp. Jeb also got earth and log, own fat. Under the secondary town there was a hydra external dwelling - I decided to screw the giants and go for the hydras with the same external dwelling, but I started this rather haphazardly: attacked the guards with a fluke, using Khalid, and even put an artifact on him +1 strength\knowledge(terribly useful for thick-headed barbarians, which I later deeply regretted), there were tons of vamps with grade and I even forgot to run away out of frustration... However, I wasn't upset for long: the caps with 3 external dwellings are enough as it is, nagas are here(I opened a second front on them and started leveling Ain), plus a wyvern external dwelling was found for good measure - we're living. By the end of the week, I built hydras in the stronghold, another wyvern external dwelling was found, but I didn same time to take it. There was no fast path to the opponent at all(the ГО is just terrible, and you'll be exhausted clicking around through the swamp) and I had to trudge into the treasure zone. However, that turned out to be a letdown - almost the entire treasure zone was cleared by a pack of gold dragons, leaving only a small nook at the bottom, where I grabbed a club +5. Meanwhile on 133 Crag flies over the ГО and pushes toward the castle... No chains, because I already moved the base into the swamp, and Ain with a couple of heroes were breaking through to the lava off-road, nowhere else to go so I buy growth without golems and carry them down the respawn, on the right there should be a passage to the swamp off-road judging by the land view, and papa is getting ready for the second treasure zone, back underground. Ain almost reached the inferno secondary town, which is still not blue, but the mine is painted, meaning scouts are nearby. Failed to take the secondary town, Crag portals there, had to crash into whatever was at hand just to save the schoolboy. By the way, I practically gifted Town Portal to the blues by building level 3 at the start of week 3; one step remained and they had enough resources for it:cool:. On 137 Jeb met me already in the treasure zone, an artifact +1 mana per day was very timely, he gave a shield every second day :) 141 - Dragon Utopia found, urgently need meat for it: a couple of days went to hives and speed pendant and on 144 Dragon Utopia falls, they gave books of water, air and some small things. Didn't think immediately about breaking for mana, and you can't really break against archangels without tactics, broke only the next day against zealots, wanted to pop into a well on the way to Tower and try to reach home from the jump, but Crag settled there exactly on that day, although he had been disappearing somewhere all the time... Mana is needed, Crag will probably reach the swamp and being red I won't see any mana, if I want to sit tight - just scream, but I need the well! Ran in, refilled, ran back up as if for a 1000 exp post, while actually Dimension Door-ing to the wyvern external dwelling(as I hoped from the darkness for the blues, so without being noticed). Crag took the bait, rushed at full speed into the swamp toward the post, but Jeb isn't there:D. However, the Town Portal problem remained, and I only have 30 mana... can't reach anywhere no matter how I turn it - decided to fly along the edge of visibility along the border with the barbarian and brought all the loot from home at the same time. I remember that our starting resps were specially made large with castles in the center equidistant from the edges, so a sudden Dimension Door from nowhere wouldn't happen:cool: and decided not to beat around the bush, but take a risk and just pop out onto the barbarian respawn from the swamp, so that by the next move via flight(it works like pathfinder with air) reach the castle with possible options. I made some fuss with heroes at the swamp castle, hoping to distract attention, but it didn't work - Crag immediately portals into barb and reaches Jeb with Dimension Door. Against a red ball, hydras are not an option for grey bears :).
