Our New Era

I think we're far from being pioneers anymore, and not even the second wave; we inherited an internet full of trash sites, goons, ubiquitous Lurkmore, and other... crap) What can you do here?) And why isn't there such a question regarding real life?

Perhaps I'm not keeping track of which wave it is now; the division is conventional and no one keeps an exact chronology... except for Lurk, perhaps. The point is simply that since we are creating a parallel space world for communication, it will also have its own events (even special Olympics! wars!), history... in general, everything is built similarly to reality, albeit almost exactly the opposite %)
By the way, now that we've started talking about history, there has been an unprecedented acceleration in development rates; for example, the size of already the fattest social network—VKontakte—has grown twofold over the last year, up to 50kk profiles; in my opinion, there aren't that many fake profiles ~5%. The importance of the internet has also grown significantly for young people... everyone is used to meeting others there now, I hear conversations about it too often... guys talking about games, girls about dating, etc. -_-
And who knows how things will go from here... but all of this makes me feel kind of creeped out))

For many, the internet has managed to become a home :madness:, or at least they consider it cozy....
