My opinion is that newcomers should be brought into such work very carefully and gradually, by assigning them very, very specific tasks. As a coach, I think you are well aware that the qualification requirements for tournament judges are always higher than for ordinary participants.
Therefore, it's better to have fewer tournaments, but ones we can be proud of!

Regarding the organization, I will wait for nprf's answer, especially since I am currently interested in slightly different sections here.
Mainly, this is related to Mapmaking and online play in Heroes 3.
