I forgot the Tournament format and started as a Black Knight as usual, which is why I ran into a Stronghold.
After all rests.
On the first week - no Nymphs or Cons anywhere (there were 3 resps), but there is a Dragon Utopia. No Gold or Money buildings, except for 2 piles of Gold. Rushed Tiraxor with 29 units. With Riders and 30+ Goblins, I initially went the wrong way and hit Hog's Horde behind the Sn. Resp., otherwise no money, and only 2 scouts. Had to turn the Horses around and go to another Inferno secondary, whose Guard of up to 20 Crocodiles I broke through losing 1 Rider; couldn't bring in the Druzhina from neutrals since it would take too long to bypass, so I fought with my own units only. However, further on was a block of up to 20 Cerberi, against whom (their native) I already lost 11 Riders. Took the Inferno secondary and used the remnants of the Army to clear some chests (2). But Loshok succeeded in finding Gold Deposits, which was enough to build levels 1-2 plus 5 in the Castle.
On the second week - another Inferno secondary, spotted an entrance to a Treasury, which is where I'm heading. Managed to build nothing except Bears. The Medusa nest was probably still on the Inferno secondary at level 6.
On the third week - several Imp-dens in the Treasury, Hive at 8, Gold Mine; spotted the Earth Book for only 100+ Crocodiles, but didn't go for it on the Third, instead took +5 Magic Power there from up to 100 Demons with some losses. Built nothing in the Castle (saving for Ransom).
On the fourth week - Earth Book (though they still didn't give me Earth), a full stack of Crocodiles finally morale-checked, taking 20+ Riders from me, then other small things; thought about collecting Hives and taking the Dragon Utopia, but found nothing except 1 Hive there, only out of stupidity attacked 300 Imps with Loshok using only Thunderbirds and lost 3 of them. Grejzh Chudsh. Built Orcs and Ogres.
On the fifth week - Double-Utopia on home (Horse and +4+4 Breastplate), Mini-Utopia on Inferno secondary (Boots of Levitation), in the second Treasury took +50 Blast Power. Heading to an acceptable Dragon Utopia (there was another one in the Treasury but very far).
On the sixth week - Triple-Utopia (All-around Helmet, Air Book, and Oracle's Hat). Finally, conscience is clear, time to pay a visit. Broke through ГО (100+ Liches), took the opponent's almost empty Castle. Took +2 Speed from the opponent's Treasury, then the only secondary. Des comes out onto the War Path. In his strike stack, Des had nearly 70 Vives, which with the Cloak of Renunciation could have worked in his favor if he were defending in the Castle, but I think a Bolt for 500 would have solved it anyway. As it happened, one unit - Thunderbirds - played the role of Kamikaze; after strikes from Thunder-Birds and Vives, the stack decreased to 40+, then again but this time Bears also contributed, and once more with the help of Wolf cubs and that was it.
Thanks for an interesting game!
