The confusion lies in the fact that Krabby and Drnik are dead. Also, judging by what was written in the first newspaper, there was an unsuccessful assassination attempt on Cash. Initially, I thought that Cash was protected by a poltergeist (presumably, Krabby). However, the second newspaper suggests that the poltergeist is still alive.
