For Heroes, as I see it, the philosophy of Mithraism (or its eastern branch – the Bon religion) is the most fitting: the worst crime is deceiving someone who trusts you. But in war, this is perfectly acceptable, because one shouldn't be a fool. Dishonest money is evil, but war spoils are an honest warrior's earnings.
