If you think this kind of resistance is a lottery (and idiotic), then consider how many players have benefited from it. And there is a flaw when casting on 1 unit. When using mass magic, resistance works perfectly, for example, with Wave of Death.

Rom, I've played Heroes many times and I know perfectly well what resistance is. It's just a stupid lottery. There's no system; 20% might not work 11 times in a row, while 5% might work 3 times in a row. I've seen all this myself, and that's why I consider resistance a real flaw in the game.
