Tomorrow, patch 1.3 will be released.
This was announced on the German forum of Ubisoft: http://forums-de.ubi.com/eve/forums/...3/m/8081066184
Here is the change log, currently in English:
New Features:
- Map Editor
- Duel Mode:
- New 3x3 duel format
- Random heroes for duel mode
- New interface for mission results
- Hotkey (ALT) to show all interactive objects on the map (resources, creatures, buildings, etc.)
- Hotkey 'CTRL' + '1,2,3...' in the castles
- Four new multiplayer maps:
- “Die Schule” (literally translated "The School")
- Allies
- Windrose
- No Man's Land
Corrected bugs in game mechanics:
- All creatures under the effect of Puppet Master can use their specials.
- The "tax payer" ability works correctly when peasants are split into stacks.
- A bug was fixed that allowed selling mini-artifacts for full price, even though they were bought at half price.
- The "remote control" ability has been corrected.
- Elementals can now be favored enemies.
- AI heroes collect artifacts properly.
Balance changes:
- Damage of Meteor Shower reduced on advanced and expert difficulty levels.
- Puppet Master is no longer canceled when the stack takes damage; however, each player can only have one Puppet Master active.
- Fire Trap no longer places mines randomly, but in a 5x5 area chosen by the player (however, randomly within this area).
- Arcane Armor absorbs more damage.
- Phantom Force allows only one phantom per stack; the phantom has no specials and has the same number of shots as the creature you use the phantom on.
- Creature Transfer spends 75% of the hero's movement; if the hero has spent too many movement points, you cannot cast it this round.
- Every casting of Raise Dead lowers the HP of the affected stack by 20% until the end of combat.
- Every casting of Resurrection lowers the HP of the affected stack by 10% until the end of combat.
- The "Master of Wrath" ability raises spell power by 4 for casting Curse of the Netherworld.
- The "Master of Pain" ability raises spell power by 4 for casting Word of Light.
- Ghosts/Spectres have more HP, but less damage.
- The specialization of Vladimir raises effective spell power by 1 every five hero levels.
- Building costs in towns are adjusted.
- The "Master of Poison" specialization is now working correctly.
- Eruina duel preset: army was weakened.
- Lethos duel preset: artifact "four-leaf clover" replaced by "tunic of the carved flesh."
- Mana cost for level 3, 4, and 5 spells is higher.
- The "war machines" skill adds HP to war machines (finally, I must say).
- Catapult has unlimited ammo.
- Warlocks, wizards, and necromancers start with a spell.
Oh yes, almost forgot. It should be released on September 13, 2006.
So, we don't have to wait much longer
