Foreign ideals are fleeting and do not deserve to exist.

In reality, the topic sounds so provocative that there is no right answer to the question (or statement). If a person has formed such a definition in their mind (and I'm not referring to the author of this thread, who clearly doesn't think that way), then arguing with them is pointless. Most likely, they don't know, and moreover, they don't want to know, what your ideals are; they are already convinced that they are (as described above).
