Yes, in a game against Tower and Conflux, the undead lose some of their bonuses. But the Death Knights remain. And their bonuses can be very significant. Also, the bonus of liches – mass attack – is particularly effective against archers and their defense. And fast vampires do reach archers; this has been tested.
