Appeals Committee. Disputed situations in tournaments.

I want to congratulate everyone on the New Year and add a few words about the situation that has developed, in which I was, in a way, involved, since I asked Maxim to register for the tournament. Now, let's get down to business: 1. I was trying to promote the tournament and give it the importance it deserves, so I asked Maxim to contact Viktor, a highly respected organizer, and ask if he could register him for the tournament instead of the "dead souls" – and it turned out there were quite a few of them. 2. I played about 6 games with Maxim, in which I didn't give him a chance, so I asked him to take first place, because, to my surprise, he defeated the main favorite of this group (and maybe even the ENTIRE TOURNAMENT)... and therefore he had such a great opportunity to take first place. 3. Yes, Maxim is very impatient, and when we play, he asks to set 4 minutes per turn; sometimes we even play with 2 minutes (no, first we played with 2 minutes per turn, but then he changed his approach and started setting 4 minutes). 4. Yes, his temperament is hot, but we are people, and sometimes we have problems that we face in this world, and that's why we are the way we are, shaped by the world around us. But this, of course, cannot serve as an excuse for him – but I understand such situations. I hope this information will reveal the whole picture that unfolded in Group B due to my indirect involvement. I congratulate all participants of the "Novichok - 2010" tournament and the respected AC on the New Year and wish you good luck in the new year.
