How does everyone celebrate the New Year?

I'm going to visit my friends; it should be fun. We'll celebrate New Year's twice – once according to Moscow time, and then an hour later, according to our time. After that, we'll go to the Christmas tree (walking through snowdrifts across half the city!). On the 1st, I'll spend the whole day RELAXING.
