New Year's songs: 30 Seconds to Mars - Santa Through The Backdoor +44 - Christmas Vacation Avril Lavigne - Oh, Holy Night (not exactly a New Year's song, but it's sung at Christmas) Blink-182 - I Won't Be Home For Christmas Fall Out Boy - Yule Shoot Your Eye Out Funeral For A Friend - Miracle Of Christmas Lostprophets - Happy New Year, Have A Good 1985 (not sure if there's anything New Year's-related here, except for the title) My Chemical Romance - All I Want For Christmas Is You Sum 41 & Unwritten Law - Unwritten Christmas The Killers - A Great Big Sled The Killers - Don't Shoot Me Santa The Used - Alone This Holiday Remind me of: Green Day - Home Coming (Not a New Year's song, but for some reason, it makes me think of New Year's) Hoobastank - If I Were You (a fairy tale) Melodium - It Must Have a Meaning (this one just reminds me of winter, snow) Sufjan Stevens - Sister Winter (winter) Sufjan Stevens - Holy, Holy, Holy (although the whole album is Christmas-themed, and this song is from there too, maybe it should be added to the top list) Muse - Eternally Missed (the beginning and end slightly remind me of magic, the sounds are like that) Panic At The Disco - She Had the World (also reminds me of it) Sum 41 - So Long Goodbye (just a New Year's song) The Used - Smother Me (a fairy tale) The Used - Yesterday's Feelings The Killers - Why Do I Keep Counting The Used - All That I've Got The Used - Cut Up Angels These two also have a festive mood (maybe because of the cheerful music, although there are many cheerful songs, but this is a special case), but the second one is more suitable for fairs and carnivals.
