Appeals Committee. Disputed situations in tournaments.

To be honest, I don't understand why there's so much fuss. In the first post of the newbie tournament thread, the rules are clearly stated:

5. Rules. The tournament will be held according to the seasonal rules.
During the tournament, the rules and regulations will NOT be changed.

6. Group stage
Dates: December 2009
7 groups of 5 people have been formed, in which everyone plays against everyone else, i.e., 4 games. Each game is allotted exactly 1 week.

Attention: technical results will be awarded for all games not played on time. Rounds will NOT be extended.

Players, by signing up for the tournament, agree to its rules and regulations, so what are the complaints? Organizing is a very difficult task, and it should be respected, not causing people stress before the New Year. That's my opinion, and I wish everyone a happy New Year.
