You're right about dying for one's homeland and faith. I tip my hat to you. But I didn't say that fighting is never necessary under any circumstances. When enemies attack your homeland, naturally you have to show them what's what so they don't try it again; I myself would gladly perish for such a cause (absolutely seriously). As for boredom and development—there are more interesting and humane ways to grow and keep from being bored. I am almost certain that for some, Heaven will be an arena where they will stand face-to-face with an opponent. Again, a clash, again victories and defeats, maybe even blood, but this time by own free will. Do you know how the Olympic Games began? The lands of ancient Greece were engulfed in endless wars. Most people didn't like them, but there had to be some way to settle disputes between kings and peoples, and besides, some means were needed to keep from falling into a depression. So the ancient Greeks came up with the Olympic Games, where every sport was a skill once used in war.
