I think that each case is different. Black Knights beat Pawns, while Phoenixes easily deal with Ghost Dragons and even resurrect. Everything will depend on a large number of factors, and it's impossible to say abstractly: "These are strong, and these are weak." If that were possible, there wouldn't be any discussion.
