No, I mean the ability to acquire the magic itself – earth, air, water, fire. And spells can be easily obtained in other towns, or even in your own. I've played the game many times, and I always found the resurrection spell. Once you have the magic, you can easily level it up to expert, and the spells will become a powerful force. I'm not considering the Grail here.
