Mafia 12. Operation "New Year"

:D Yeah, and I even placed the corpse right outside my door))) Think logically (Sevr, you're Mafia, you don't have to think): let's say Lizard is either the Confectioner or the Expert, and he visited me - why would his death be described as happening right outside my door?
There are 3 possibilities with Lizard: he's the Expert and visited me, he's the Confectioner and protected me, or he's Mafia and killed me. If he's the Expert, and I'm the Mafia who killed him, why wasn't I blocked? We can rule out this option. That leaves the Confectioner and Mafia.
Now let's look at the previous nights:
1) Kyle died outside Arandor's door - Kyle was Lazy and saved Arandor.
2) Crabby died outside Cash's door. Crabby was Mafia. It's unlikely that Naira killed Crabby; I didn't see any evidence pointing to her. So, the Confectioner was active.
3) Naira died outside the Witch's door. All roles were active, and the Mafia was also active. Naira was the Maniac. Again, the Confectioner saved the Witch.
4) Lizard died outside my house.
The pattern is clear, plus the cold weapon I mentioned earlier and the absence of the corpse itself (or at least snow or a puddle). I conclude that Lizard is Mafia and was killed by the Confectioner, who was protecting me.
Okay, maybe the GM will answer.
Question to the GM: Does the death of a protective role occur during the action or after (since the Confectioner goes before the Mafia - he protects and then goes home)?
So, Sevr, this is an attempt to dig into my reasoning using baseless arguments
