The GM's message is very ambiguous. As someone already noted, it's 50/50. You can't bring Cash back to life. But the events of that night can be figured out ;)

The theory that Cash was a maniac was ambiguous from the beginning. I'm still in shock from the 10 votes. So now, 25% against 75%, I would say. And, in my opinion, the initiators of Cash's execution perfectly understood this.

And yes, figure out the events of that night as much as you like. But I don't see any posts like "Look, I found a clue!" And we happily forgot about the events of the previous day. This benefits someone, and it's clearly not the city.
