If I'm not mistaken, this is the mission where you need to kill Alaric. If so, there should be a Necropolis on the map. Try converting all your troops into undead. At least, that's what I did.
Well, it's a fresh idea, I'll try it this evening... and what do Cyclops and Titans turn into – the same creatures... into dragons?
